Mai is a quarterly journal devoted to the critical, independent examination of the cultural and social implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

We serve as a forum for authorities to debate issues surrounding AI and a place where lay audiences can better understand the significance of the technology-driven changes underway. With its multiple definitions and applications, AI will impact everything from political and social systems and our day-to-day lives, to how we understand ourselves and our communities. The goal of Mai is to help draw the necessary conversations out of the margins and corral them into one intriguing, useful and accessible place.
